ImProving Herds: Linking Dairy Herd Improvement and Profit

Dairy farmers and anyone interested in the link between herd improvement and profit are invited to attend The National Muster field day at the Jelbart farm, Leongatha South, Victoria on 10 May 2018.

• Hear how the next generation of the Jelbart family is approaching their dairy business

Showcasing the wealth of collaboration, science and understanding in the dairy industry, the Gardiner Foundation’s ImProving Herds project is led by Dr Jennie Pryce from the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) and is supported by Dairy Australia, DataGene Limited, National Herd Improvement Association of Australia (NHIA) and Holstein Australia.

The National Muster Field Day is presented by the ImProving Herds project and GippsDairy, with the program including:

• ImProving Herds focus farmers: Tim Jelbart, Sam McCluggage (WVic), Jared Ireland (NVic), Brad O’Shannessy (NVic)
