All-Australian People’s Choice

Keep an eye out for the all new Holstein Australia All-Australian People’s Choice competition on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter later this week.

Designed as a bit of a trip down memory lane for Holstein aficionados the All-Australian People’s Choice will run over the next six weeks, with a selection of winning cows from the last six years of competition featured each week.

Voting commences Thursday 4th June for our first featured class, 2 year old in milk (30 months and under) and closes Sunday 8 June.

To the right are our featured cows for the first week, your last six Semex-Holstein Australia All-Australian 2 year old in milk (30 months and under) winners!

David Jupp, Holstein Australia Chief Operations Officer, says: “With the back end of the show year curtailed, this will be a great way for members to get their ‘show fix’ and have a bit of fun at the same time.

“At the same time as looking back over previous All-Australian winners in the People’s Choice, I would encourage members who have shown Holsteins during the current year to get their entries in for the 2020 All-Australian Photographic Competition which is going ahead as usual. It is one of the most prestigious awards for members  and showcases the best Holsteins shown around the country year-on-year, forming a record of the best of breed for current and future generations.”

Whether you are on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, check your feed on Thursday 4th June to vote for your favourite 2 year old in milk (30 months and under). The winner will be announced on Monday 8^th June.
