2023 AUSTRALIAN YOUNG BREEDERS SCHOOL TEAM

Holstein Australia and Jersey Australia are pleased to confirm the 2023 Australian team travelling to Belgium for the Young Breeders School in August.

We welcome new team leader, Kelly Bleijendaal of Winwood Holsteins! Kelly will be supporting the team through their entire trip and is a fantastic role model for our up and coming leaders. 

The 2023 Young Breeders School will be held in Batisse, Belgium between Wednesday, 30th August - Sunday, 3rd September 2023.

The 2022 Australian Young Breeders School team featured young leaders from throughout the country.

The 2022 Young Breeders School team featured:

The 2023 Holstein Australia Youth Challenge at International Dairy Week was overseen by Andrew Grey (Judging), Nathan Hart (Clipping) and Kaitlyn Wishart (Showmanship). 

Courtney Afford & Georgia Sieben achieved selection on the Holstein Australia National Judging Panel.

2019 australian young breeders school team

The first year Australia participated in formerly known European Young Breeders School. The inaugural team had a strong showing, with all members placing in the top third of the results. 

Standout results included Zoe Hayes (7th overall), Ricky Nelson (11th overall) and Julia Paulger (14th overall).
