Rules and Bylaws
As required by legislation Holstein Australia must conduct its business with sound governance operating under a set of rules and bylaws.
The Associations rules and bylaws are legal documents and direct the basic structure and requirements for the board of directors to manage the organisation.
This in turn allows the Board to formulate policy and to make bylaws for the detailed implementation of the objectives of the Association including the variation of the rules and bylaws as may be required. Association rules can only be changed by special resolution and voted on by members at an Annual General Meeting.
