Eagle Ridge tops at $6,500
The recent Eagle Ridge Heifer Dispersal Sale saw Master Breeders, Russell and Kerry Eagle sell Eagle Ridge Ammo A Polka-RC who topped the sale at $6,500.
She is a stylish Mr Leaninghouse Ammo daughter from an Absolute dam sold due to Unstopabull-Red, selling to Adam Wright of Brucknell.
The 58 Holsteins sold grossed $210,400, selling at an average of $3,630.
The next highest price was $6,250 for the Eagle Ridge Rambo SE Tiffany. This classy heifer sold in calf to Hanley to return buyers Eloora Past Co of Deniliquin, NSW.
Eloora Past Co also selected the top lot from guest vendors and Master Breeders, Jon and Nadine Holland of Holloddon Holsteins. These buyers selected both Secretariat Charcole 2811 at $5,100 and Holloddon Contender Laura 2814 at $4,250.
Other noted sales included Eagle Ridge Devour BD Polka; a grand daughter of Zelgadis F Polka, VG, 537 kgs fat, sold for $5,750 to Krishlaye Holsteins.
Eagle Ridge Unstopabull B Polka-Red is from a 13,369 litre Bradnick dam and sold at $5,250 to James Darmody of Yangery.
Local breeders the Goode Family of Poowong selected Eagle Ridge Wilson M Polly for $4,500. She is a very stylish heifer backed by 9 generations of EX & VG dams.
The same buyers also took home Eagle Ridge Tatoo Sat Polly for $4,200. She is a very smart heifer from a VG 88 Saturn dam.
David and Jenny Custance offered a line of young cows of Eagle Ridge breeding, including Eagle Ridge Goldsun GC Polly who sold at $4,000 to K & A Mapleson of Nyora.
