Holstein Highlights 2022
After a 3 year hiatus the Holstein Australia National Awards Dinner is back, and you're invited!
Billed as Holstein Highlights, the awards dinner will take place on the evening of Wednesday 14 September at the Mercure, Ballarat, Victoria as part of 3 days of activities.
Hosted by the Western District Sub-branch, Holstein Highlights will honour those that shape us, acknowledging and recognising our award winners on their outstanding achievements and contribution to the Holstein community.
Holstein Australia CEO, Rohan Butler, says: “You could almost say this has been three years in the making! This will be our first National Awards Dinner and in-person AGM since Inverloch in 2019. We had a small taste of how important member get-togethers are at our IDW member barbecue this year.
“I’m really excited about the program that we’ve put together, which is a little bit different from previous years, with Ballarat in central Victoria being a readily accessible location for Victorian members and those planning to attend from inter-state. After the last couple of years a few days off farm with like-minded people celebrating all that is good and great about the Holstein community will be pretty special and something to look forward to.”
Honouring those that shape us
Did you notice the Holstein Highlights 2022 logo? This year’s National Awards Dinner is all about honouring those that shape us, those who have shaped our Association, sometimes over many generations, and all those members who contribute to making the Holstein community the special place that it is in dairying regions around the country.
Take the time to check out the images that make up this montage – we’ve tried to include as many member photos as we can to make up our ‘honour cow’!
