Holsteins top $10,500 at IDW 

Topping the ST Genetics Create the Future Sale held at IDW was the four month old heifer Lightning Ridge SMDW Chief Vera. This calf is by Stantons Chief from Murribrook Diamond Vera, VG88; a second lactation daughter of the EX92 Goldwyn Verbena cow. She was bought by Gordon Past Co of Tongala.

Coming in at the next equal highest price at $10,000 was another daughter of the Vera cow; Murribrook Sidekick Vera sold pregnancy tested in calf (PTIC) to Brayden-P. She was purchased by Peter Fullerton of Nirranda.

Bought at equal second for $10,000 was Winwood Mirand Gucci-Poll, who was crowned winning yearling in the 2022 IDW Show. She completes three generations of IDW winners, selling to the Castles Family of Allansford.

Guye Holdings Fortnite Monterey Silk 2146 also sold at $10,000, bought by ST Genetics Australia.

She sold with contract interest and is from a full blood sister to CBSamite.

The 10 month old heifer Cypress Grove X43 Doorman Taberet backed by eight out of ten excellent dams sold at $8,000 to P Price of Leongatha.

The STG Create the Future Sale was a live auction, with two thirds of the selling lots remaining on farm via video. This sale also featured lots of all Dairy Breeds.
