STG Australia Virtual Holstein Spectacular extension

It’s time to get your phone out, film your best animals and enter the STG Australia Virtual Holstein Spectacular.

Open to every Holstein Australia member the STG Australia Virtual Holstein Spectacular runs from mid-March to the end of May with Sub-branch, Regional and National judging taking place over the first two weeks of June. Like last year the National Finals Presentation will be streamed on Facebook, with a $1,250 per class prize pool at National level.

How do I enter?

Entering the STG Australia Virtual Holstein Spectacular is really simple.

Head to our competitions page and check out our sample video, competition terms and conditions and easy to follow instructions on how to film your animals.

Once you are ready you can enter direct from your phone:

STEP 1: Record a 30 - 40 second video of your animal on your phone.

STEP 2: Go to holsteinspectacular.com.au to enter.

STEP 3: Enter your member number then use the dropdown menu to select your cow’s ID details, making sure to check that DOB and number of lactations are correct and update them if necessary.

STEP 4: Upload your video by clicking ‘Choose File’. Once your video has uploaded (the submit button will turn green) hit submit.

Follow our easy 'how to film your animals' instructions to get the perfect videos of your cows

There are five classes, from 2 year old to 6 year old and over, with members able to enter two animals per class. Entry is only open to registered animals and is free. Animals registered during the competition period can also be entered.

Each Sub-Branch has the opportunity to hold its own competition, with the top two animals per class going through to the regional competition, and the top two per class from the regional comp going through to the national final.
