National Judging School 2022 to take place in Mt Gambier SA
Applications are now open for Holstein Australia’s National Judging School, to be held in Mt Gambier, South Australia, from Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th May hosted by the South Australian branch.
Gino Pacitti, Breed Development & Conformation Committee Chair and organiser of this year’s judging school, says: “The school is open to any dairy cattle enthusiast who wants to learn more about assessing and describing dairy cattle. Members of Holstein Australia and other dairy breed associations as well as those involved in the herd improvement industry are encouraged to attend.”
“We’ve put together a program to accommodate participants with a wide range of experience and interests. While every participant will have the opportunity to present to the panel of well-known and respected Overjudges on the final day, not everyone attends with the aim of qualifying for the National Judges Panel. For some it will be part an important part of their journey to improve their dairy knowledge and skills.”
Overjudges for the 2022 National Judging School are John Gardiner (Avonlea , VIC), Vaughn Johnston (Ewen Pine, SA) and Jenny Grey (The Pines, NSW).
