Vale Julie Lowe

It is with a heavy heart that Holstein Australia acknowledges the sudden and unexpected passing of our esteemed colleague Julie Lowe. It has shaken our community and our thoughts and wishes are with Julie’s family and friends.

Julie worked as a Member Services Officer for 27 years and was an important and valuable member of the Holstein team. She was always willing to lend a hand and never complained. In Julie’s typically unassuming style Julie handled the incoming calls on her mobile phone for several months during the COVID lockdown.

In her lifetime she has experienced many of life’s pleasures and she spent her time doing the things she loved including holidaying on the beach, going to the footy, shows and concerts.

Julie loved football and has been a passionate member of the North Melbourne Football Club for a great deal of her life and never lost her passion for North.

Julie’s 25 years of service with Holstein Australia was celebrated in 2019; nearly a quarter of the time HA has existed. During her time she served under 6 CEO’s:  Gerald Boyd-Clarke, Grant Munro, Matt Shaffer, David Jupp, Graeme Gillan and Rohan Butler.

Her death comes as a shock and she will always be missed by the entire Holstein community.
